What's the best soluction If the built-in wifi was soldered on the motherboard of laptop? I most care about wifi connection of a laptop.

Assuming the soldered WiFi is not supported, get a different laptop.

Just updated Sierra to High Sierra. Everything went well with no issues but there is only one thing. Before the update after 5 seconds the computer booted directly into the Mac (I have Windows 10 also). Now it stops at the screen and I have to manually chose the Mac. Not a big deal but this computer is mostly used by my daughter. I try to mess with the plist file with no success. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am afraid that it did not work. When I rebooted, clover stops with the the windows entry highlighted. I am wondering if the problem is with the plist. I used the one in your repo, in which

I need to see ioreg after you test all ports, just as mentioned in post #1 "USB customization".
Mainly because you have things like this in SSDT-USB-1030-G1.asl:

                    "HS04", Package()   // ??
                    {
                        "UsbConnector", 3,
                        "port", Buffer() { 4, 0, 0, 0 },
                    },

Why don't you know how HS04 is attached? Why "// ??"
If it is unused, then it should be eliminated.

And to test a USB-C on XHC, you need a USB-C->USB3 adapter. Then you need to plug a device into the adapter,... and plug the USB-C adapter in both orientations. And testing must be done both with a USB3 device and USB2 device.

I saw your other SSDT-USB-examples have WWAN enabled:

How do you determine it is a WWAN port? (from ioreg or DSDT/SSDT?) In HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1, I also found no device attached to WWAN port, but it also enabled.

Every item which comment as '??' is not attached any device...So it is unused (except WWAN). But I cannot determine it is a WWAN port which should be enabled or not...So just leave it there...

OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi is missing from drviers64UEFI.
Don't forget about EC reset.

OsxAptioFixDrv-64 + EC reset did the trick.

Install WWAN card. Look at ioreg.

Worked like a charm for my 850 G3. I did update the repo and apply all changes before attempting.
