Hi Rehabman,
I want to know if I can use Expresscard and SDCard slot (JMicron) because it doesn't show up any info about them in System Report (System Information). I have disabled FireWire too in the BIOS menu.

The card reader works when you insert a compatible card. Do not expect it to show in System Information.

Downloaded linux mint when i try to run output from 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal am getting command not found ,am i using the wrong version of Linux ?? how do i get audio codec dump ??

Try it with Ubuntu 16.04 live system. You can easily boot it up from USB stick without installing.

Note: Chipset is 100-series, not 200-series.
Need also audio codec dump from Linux.
Some work on the battery SSDT will be necessary (and associated config.plist patches), but battery code is similar to previous models.

Read any AppleHDA patching guide. First step is to determine audio codec ids, via Linux audio codec dump.
