@jhax01 do you plan to test upgrade to Mojave? I've made direct upgrade from HS, but touchscreen and audio stopped working. Clean install gave the same results. I'll prepare problem reporting files, so maybe we will fix this problems.

I've updated Voodoo, Lilu and AppleALC to newest versions and Mojave is working great on my tablet. The only thing isn't working is brightness on my keyboard and still haven't figure out how to set BT rom to load so must load it from Windows.

I've been trying to install MacOS Mojave on my Elite with no luck at the moment, I can't get past the apple logo at the moment. Not sure what's wrong.

I've followed a few tutorials listed on this thread but I'm a novice at all of this. Thank you in advance!!

"Still waiting for root device" when booting from USB indicates a USB problem.
Make sure you're using a USB2 stick.

Also, it is clear you didn't follow the guide.

Thank you for the tip! I'm definitely using a USB 2.0, but if you think there's a problem with the drive I can always run out and get another. I followed the guide this morning, and got much further. Managed to get past the first install, on the second (from the internal drive) the installer rebooted my computer and but now trying to boot into it again has caused a boot loop.

No need for exta kexts like ACPIBatteryManager.kext during installation.
