According to tonymacx86 tips, I installed Mountain Lion 10.8 on XPS8300, final updated to 10.8.2. All accessory is compatible with XPS8300.
Last month I bought a new CPU E3 1230 v2. so I changed my XPS8300 H67 motherboard. By using XPS8500 H77 motherboard which is IVB platform. Other accessory is not be replaced.
GPU: MSI 470GTX
RAM: 8G
HD: 3T
OD: Pioneer Blue-ray.
Webcam: Logitech Pro C920.

Mountain Lion 10.8.2 reinstalled with unibeast 1.5.3 and installed OK. Rollback ACPPlatform kext by entering safe mode. System boot sucessful.
But now I have usb detection problem which is not occurred in XPS8300.
Keyboard, mouse, BT, USB dongle is all OK. Webcam Pro C920, iphone, ipad can be detected in system info. But cannot be drived correctly.
1) Webcam Pro C920 no image, but microphone can be used.
2) iphone can not be charged, and can not be recognized by iTunes.

-V mode check the log.

if you get an answer to your boot question i would like to know what can be done to get the os to boot from the hard drive the following link gives a solution it just doesn't work for me. http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html

Ok, I've managed to boot from the HD following the instructions given by the post in the link, my problem still is the lack of a usable boot, when I turn my computer on, the only thing that i can see after the spinning wheel is the screen going into "Energy save mode", I don't know why, I had a stable System, install Multibeast and then is gone, I will do some more research. I hope i can come with something.

i have an xps 8500 after installing easybeast it will not reboot hangs on boot up.
i am installing 10.7.5 it will not let me update to 10.8.2 for some reason.
what are you running that allows easybeast to work.
do i need to modify a file.

i take it you have had success loading your dell xps 8500 and no problem with booting from the hard drive after you selected easybeast, i have had no such luck the only difference from what you listed is the hard drive, i have a wd Wd10EzEX 1tb, i downloaded the latest beta RTL81xx driver and still will not boot from the hard drive.

any ideas
