Did you do any settings to DMVT? I did a setup of Retina display (HiDPI) for my Dell laptop. But I got this issue by waking up my laptop the first time and got this 1/4 screen.
My original post is here: Adding/Using HiDPI custom resolutions

Thanks.

Probably related to the ig-platform-id you're using.
You should try others.

Update: OS X 10.13.6 upgrade

Here just a report.
The configuration for now can use on 10.13.6, no issue found after upgrade.

Hi, I'd like to ask some questions:
You said in previous posts(including #1) something about injecting CPU ID(config.plist/CPU/Type), I don't see the injection on your config.plist, is it really needed?

What is the purpose of UseARTFrequency=NO in your plist?

I also noticed AsusAICPUPM, FAKECPUID in your plist, is it needed?

I'm asking because today I experienced a unusual high use of CPU by kernel_task(60%-80%) and the computer did show some slowdown signs, but then I rebooted and it seems normal now(kernel_task around 10%).

I'm attaching PR files in case someone could take a look and tell me if I need to make changes somewhere.

Oh! I missed CPU/Type settings! You can add it on ur own.
Basically it may only affect the information about CPU. But still suggest to add it.
For UseARTFrequency=YES, it use for HDMI audio since Skylake platform.

Also I didn't use any fake id for CPU, I only use it for HD620.
And I didn't find AsusAICPUPM in my plist. Which CL file you're looking at?

Oh, sorry, I was looking at an older one from your can't boot os x installer thread.
Thanks for the reply, I will add CPU/Type to my plist.

I have the exact same spec 7560 as the OP but struggling at the mo.

I've managed to install OSX 10.13.6 but once booted, if I install clover to the internal SSD and use your clover files, it reboots just after a corecrypto message. It goes too quick for me to read it fully .

@missile0407 what bios version are you on please?

The BIOS is 1.5.4

You can try boot with the option "Don't reboot after panic."

Which CLOVER you're using? Please note that you have to use the CLOVER build by RehabMan.
Also have you avoid APFS conversion during OS X installation?

Thanks, I'm also on 1.5.4 ( I notice new version just came out yesterday)

I had installed as APFS so starting from scratch again but failing at the first hurdle.

My method so far..

Make Unibeast installer. Delete clover folder on EFI partition of unibeast installer.

Install RM’s clover to EFI on unibeast installer.

Copy these kexts to CLOVER/Kexts/Other

FakeSMC

SATA-100-series-unsupported

RealtekRTL8111

USBInjectAll

VoodooPS2Controller

Lilu

IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup

Edit config .plist with the following

config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FixHeaders=True

config.plist/ACPI/AutoMerge=True

config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/DellSMBIOSPatch=True

Set config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/Generate/PluginType=true

And set config.plist/CPU/Type=0x0705 (CPU Type for i7)

Now stuck at end randomseed

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I've been away from the hackintosh scene for a while, looks like I'm not having much luck this time!

Only difference with my system is I have 16GB of RAM.

Please follow the RehabMan's guide carefully. The guide is not suggest using Unibeast to make installer.

Also for "+++++++++" issue, I guess ur driver64UEFI is not correct.
Try using my CL file directly and set Graprics > EDID > Inject=no

Hi, I have the same crunchie´s problem and same laptop. Did you make a DVTM patch on Bios as cagalindo did. How did you do please? I think my DVTM is 128MB.
