Ok using MacBookAir7,2 smbios now allows me to boot and I have PM. Thanks so much.

Although aren't our devices much more like the Macbook8,1? Should that not be working also?

Gonna try the frequency fix now as it now wont go below 1.3Ghz

A lot of laptops have problems with MacBook8,1 (or is it Macbook8,1?)

I have seen ioreg from people that have it working... Who knows why??..

Here is what i have inside my OEM folder in clover and my edited kext for frequency.
My DVMT is set to 128M and i'm booting in UEFI mode

Ok so I've used these files, clover config, ssdt.aml and the kext - and I can not boot and have pm etc :S

Anyway, Got my working MacBook8,1 with PM now and using platform id 0x161E0001 (only boots with inject edid checked) which is for MacBook8,1 too and our graphics card.

I think you are in the right way using platform id 0x161E0001 and checking inject edid. This works better than 0x16260006 ig

Real MacBook8,1 uses 0x161E0001 same as UX305FA

Yup. Given the similarities in hardware, that makes it a good ig-platform-id to use...

No freeze of mouse for first few seconds of login with 0x161E0000 and 0x161E0001

The 0x161E0000 seems better suited in terms of connectors but 0x161E0001 has more vram and gives faster login performance (for me anyway, no long black delay)




0x16260006 is for the MacBookAir7,2 with HD 6000 graphics and core i5 & i7

Actually, 0x161e0000 is a strange beast. I'm having a hard time coming up with a scenario where you'd have both LVDS and eDP connected displays.

oh yeah well spotted - I just meant for this devices hdmi output but the clover kext patches cover that for 0x161E0001

Yes, easy to patch DP connector to HDMI...
