I also tried to copy it to /usr/bin which gives me „Operation not permitted“.

Must use 'sudo'. And must have SIP disabled.

used this guide's script to generate the hotpatch ".aml"s for my Zenbook UX303LA (i7 Broadwell). Running Mojave 10.14.1 almost everthing works now except the keyboard backlit.
