So I recently opened my ux305UA to see what wifi card I would need to be replace only to find that the card was not replaceable. Here is a picture of the card sautered to the board. If anybody knows of a way to replace the card so that I can get sleep to help, please tell me! Thanks in advance.
Looking to get some help on getting my Asus UX305UA (specs in signature) to sleep. Current state of the Hackintosh is pretty much everything working (kb + touchpad, native power management, brightness, audio, wifi via usb dongle, etc) -- sleep is the last thing to solve.
hi guys, i installed El Capitan on my laptop, Ux305FA core M powered. I followed this guide from jhawk
To get a working wi fi, I replaced my intel card with a Bcm94352z from Lenovo.
I get wi fi and Bluetooth...
My laptop is running El Captain currently, I couldn't update by simply downloading and installing the app in app store.
And also I have restored my USB stick with the installation app, but somehow now matter what I do. The USB stick doesn't work, with a few seconds of apple on the screen it...
Just wanted to say that i got my UX305UA working pretty good.
Everything works fine except:
Intel Wifi (no surprise)
I had problems booting at first but i just added SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext to "OTHER" and it booted up fine.
