Just found the Metal entry in the system information (Graphics/Displays):

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950

'Metal: supported, function set macOS GPUFamily1 v3'

v1 = Yosemite
v2 = Sierra
v3 = High Sierra
v4 = Mojave

my Kepler based GT 640 / GTX 650 support v4 function set (Majove build 18A389)
Code:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST:

Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST
Type:    GPU
Bus:    PCIe
PCIe Lane Width:    x16
VRAM (Dynamic, Max):    2047 MB
Vendor:    NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID:    0x11c2
Revision ID:    0x00a1
ROM Revision:    VBIOS 80.06.59.00.1a
Metal: Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily1 v4

don't know when will nvidia release the webdriver that support v4 function set

You will have to wait until Nvidia releases web drivers for Mojave (nobody knows when), which is required for the GTX 950 to function correctly in Mojave.

I recommend sticking with High Sierra for now.

I just wanted to know if the GTX 950 works in general with Mojave.
I know I have to wait for the Web drivers. How do you think I got High Sierra to work? :rolleyes:

Great, you know you have to wait (perhaps a long time). Good for you.

If Nvidia decides this time it won't release Mojave drivers, or if it decides the Mojave drivers will not be supporting Maxwell cards like the GTX 950, then you will never be able to get it to work correctly in Mojave and will have to stay with High Sierra unless you replace your card.

Hope that Nvidia won't do such things, but dropping "old" video card support in new drivers is nothing new to Nvidia.
