Hello,

Sorry i have forget to Change my Profile.
I have now One Ga-z68x-ud3h Mainboard

Robottino

GA-Z68MA-U2H-B3 F8
Fresh Lion install

DSDT install with F4 DSDT (latest)
Rebooted
Deleted AppleHDA
Rebooted
Used Kext Helper b7 to install OPs AppleHDA
Rebooted
Had volume icon but no line-out sound here.
Unplugged speakers
Rebooted
Plugged in Speakers - A new Line-out appeared in Sys Pref Sound screen
Sounds works like a champ now.

Install has been stupid easy on this board. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive but very capable board I'd highly suggest the Z68MA-U2H-B3

Thanks!

I was skeptical but indeed got it to work on an GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 using F7 DSDT on BIOS version F8 running Mac OS X Lion 10.0.7.1.

Took about 2 minutes for all the output devices to pop-up one by one in the System Preferences > Sound > Output.

Lockzi

ok download this
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... 12#utility
and download a program call "@bios" and install it on your computer

then from here
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... =3912#bios
download your bios and extract it

then used the @Bios program to install it thou windows very easy

i just wanted to happily report that this method is working fine for my build:

Snow Leopard 10.6.8
GA-Z68XP-UD3 F3

i kiss you!

Actually, I need to revise this post. I did get it working - but I keep getting random kernel panics which has been isolated to using this kext.

I am gonna have to look elsewhere for proper audio on this mb :(

EDIT:
Haha, it is not the audio driver. It's when watching flash! Naturally I thought it was the audio driver since whenever watching YouTube it panics.

Gonna starta a new thread about it.
Thanks again for the guide!

thx i got HDMI sound now !!

but...i lost my mic :( i dont have internal mic option anymore, why?:(

EDIT:

got it !!!!!

i deleted ALL audio kexts, ALC889, ALC8xxHDA, i just leave your AppleHDA.kext and GFX0 & HDAU DSDT edits and it all works !! o_O

mic, hdmi, speakers....now i really dont get whats goin on...
