After getting up the courage from the forum to build my first HACKINTOSH i purchased all the equipment and can't seem to get it to work.

Components:
Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel Z170 ATX DDR4 Motherboards GA-Z170X-UD5
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980Ti 6GB G1 GAMING OC EDITION
Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit (8GBx4) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin - BLS4K8G4D240FSE (Red)
Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor, Socket LGA 1151 [BX80662I76700K]
Corsair RMx Series, RM850x, 850W, Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Gold Certified[/B]

Bench Test:
I installed the CPU and fan to the motherboard as well as the 24 pin and 8 pin power. When i flip the switch the red power switch light illuminates but when I press the button nothing happens. Any thoughts? i am about ready to send all the parts back and call it a day.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! Pics to follow.

Have you tried starting with the power switch on your case? If not, be sure your SW connector from the case power switch is connected to the appropriate pin on the motherboard.
