I will let you know guys tommorow if 6800 work or not. On my iMac latest big sur version is 11.01 20C50 not 20B50 but probably same drivers there. What do you think guys in case 6800 is not working yet i can keep both gpu's in my system? 5700xt and 6800? my psu should be enough is evga 850w

I hope we'll get full driver support for Radeon 6000 by March 2021. It's possible Apple will introduce new laptops and/or iMacs with some variant of those GPUs. Mac Pro owners and eGPU owners would also benefit, so it's just matter of a few months. After all, we already see Radeon 6000 device IDs in one of the AMD kexts.

As for keeping for the 5700 and 6800 installed, I think that should be fine. Just give it a try. However, if your Asus Z490-E has an extra power connector on the motherboard for auxiliary PCI power, connect that as well.

Can’t wait for one of these! Over the years I think Powercolor has improved their style and performance factors. This thing is a monster at 3 slots it must have a huge heat sink and fin assembly. I really liked their RD RX 590, it was a solid card and quiet.

Congratulations! The RX 6800 is a 2-slot card, which I personally prefer. Looking forward to your evaluation.

Updates Rx 6800 try to run on Big Sur. Strange behavior. I installed both gpus connected each one to a different monitor. Rx 5700xt boot fast in Big Sur but 6800 stuck in Apple logo.
In system. Report displays only 5700xt is recognized. What is interested is I find out what what vendor and device id gpu use Someone advice me to update to big sur 11.1 beta

Device ID 0x73BF is exactly what we expected! Hopefully we'll have full macOS support for this by March 2021, if not sooner.

MacOS 11.1 will not work with this GPU so it's best to wait until 11.1 is formally released.
