Hi !

I upgraded my hackintosh from a 3 years old sandy bridge GA-Z68X to a new Haswell GA-Z97X-UD3H.
I followed the install guide and everything seems to work fine but the network.

All my data is stored in a Synology DS-1511+, and when i copy from the nas i have transfer speed around 80-100 MB/s.
If i try to send the same file back to the nas i only get 2-4MB/s

I Installed the E1000E driver for the Intel i217 chip via Multibeast.

Anyone else have a similar problem ? or even better a solution ?

I tried the same copy on my 6 year old MacBookPro, and that one hade about 70-80MB/s both on sending and receiving the file

Hi,

same problem on my fresh install (Yosemite 10.10.1) based on the same motherboard and a 2 different Synology DS410.

I tested with 2 different cables , 2 differents LAN switches, same issue :
- copying 1GB file from Synology to OSX needs few seconds
- copying 1GB file from OSX to Synology needs several minutes ...

Interface is correctly connected to the LAN switch (1000Mbps Fullduplex)
Same issue with automatic connection or manual connection.

No problem with my previous configuration based on a ASUS P5K-E WIFI/AP

Do you found a solution ?

Note : no issue with the same configuration under Win7 PRO

Hi,

problem resolved using previous version of the AppleIntelE1000e kext
v3.1.0 : slow network issue
v3.0.4.1a : no issue

Hi !

Where can i download this older Kext ?

You don't need to download it, it's in Multibeast - Drivers - Network - Intel

:) how could i have missed that :)

Many thanks will try this !

EDIT:
Tried it.. First just changing the intel kext.. result=Kernelpanic
Then i runed full multibeast configuration ant now it seems to work, cross my fingers :-D

Thanks again !

Hi Bif,

I'm having the same issue after updating to 10.10.2. I have incredible download speeds, but its connection to my Apple TV is like molasses for some reason. I've installed every Intel kext listed in MultiBeast and only the v3.1.0 kext works at all.

When you say you ran full multibeast configuration and now it seems to work, what do you mean exactly? Did you run EasyBeast over your existing installation? I'm thinking of trying this, but I feel like it's kind of the nuclear option. I don't really want to open that whole can of worms, when everything else is running so well.

Thanks!
