@skitzo
I try to edit clover configurator and click your suggestion.
but, I still get this message in I into OS X 10.10.4 or 10.10.5.

Hi guys,
if you want to help me or other, I think you could send your Clover or Chameleon ( /Extra/ [ DSDT.aml & org.chameleon.Boot.plist ])
that making compressed file for us.

thanks, really.

Hello guys! :)
Here I'm ready to update to Sierra!!
Bu also here my dilemma:
I have been using Yosemite for an 1 year and a half, I never had a problem with that and I really like it!
But I have to update due I'm a Logic user so I can't update it if I don't update my OS.
This is my components:
GA-Z68XP-UD3P
| i7 2600K | Radeon HD 6850 | Barracuda HD SATA 1TB (Yosemite OS)| Samsung 850 EVO 500gb (empty)

I'm worry about compatibility of my hardware with Sierra. Did some of you had a very successful installation?

Should I try to attempt for a new installation on my new SSD and if it works do the backup and then format the barracuda? Or just update my Yosemite on my current HD?

I wish you all the best :)

Hello Guys!
I'm sorry about my previous post! So if some admin can cancel it it will be apreciated!

I just upgraded from Yosemite 10.10 to Sierra 10.12 everything is working :D except for the USB 3 ! :(

I'm going to explain what I have done to make it possible:

1) I update my bios(F7) in U1G (UEFI BIOS). To do that I followed this video on YouTube.
2) I made my bootable USB drive with UniBeast and chose the UEFI Boot Mode as suggested by tonymacx86 in his guide.
3) I followed this Guide
4) Then selected this drivers in MultiBeast:

Quick Start > UEFI Boot Mode
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC889 Drivers >
Disk > 3rd Party eSATA
Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.25-332-gf3a8525c.1758
Drivers > Network > Realtek > RealtekRTL8111 v2.2.1
Bootloaders > Clover v2.4k r4063 UEFI Boot Mode
Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2
Customize > SSDT Options > Sandy Bridge Core i7

I hope that this can help someone! I was a little scared to update from 10.10 to 10.12 because this is a old board but luckily everything run smoothly! ;D

I use this machine mostly for music production, Logic 10.3.1 and my sound card Saffire PRO 24 FW is working properly!

After the installation the system update from the apple store to the 10.12.5 everything went well :D
Screen Shot 2017-05-28 at 11.32.21.png

I'm really happy because I can continue to use this machine 5 years old but still very performing!

I will donate! Because this web site saved my life!!

Thanks to everyone!!

Hi guys,

I'm currently on Yosemite and wish to upgrade to Sierra. Unlike most of you here, I am on legacy F6 BIOS and do not want to update to the UEFI firmware. I'm also new to Clover so it's a bit complicated for me.

I want to be able to upgrade to Sierra and have a stable system...but I also need to be able boot into my non EFI Windows 10 drive with USB 3.0 enabled (not too worried if it doesn't work on macOS).

I can follow along the main installation guide, but looking for advice on anything I need to do specific to our motherboard, Clover settings, MultiBeast settings, kexts/patches, etc.

I have started a thread here that you can check out for more information.

Thanks!
