Could do with some help on my USB.

All is okay until it comes to sleep. There are some odd things....the system will sleep and wake from sleep by USB but the thing that woke the system from sleep (e.g. mouse if woken by a click or keyboard if woken by spacebar etc) then needs to be unplugged and re-plugged. Also it then can turn into a system that will not sleep/re-awakes instantly.

I guess this issue may well be somewhere in the 80 pages, but can someone pls point me in the right direction.

Keyboard and mouse are wired items (not using bluetooth) and onboard NIC has been disabled and I'm now on the HP ethernet card (works great thanks!).

I am using Bios F6, 10.7.3 and the DSDT from the first post.

Many thanks for your help.

Minihack, I had similar USB problems when plugged directly into the back panel. When i moved my keyboard and mouse to my Apple Ciniema Display it resolved these issues, also tested with 3rd party USB hub and it fixed the problem as well. My suggestion is try that and see if it helps.

Updated tonight. Killed my Audio but multibeast repatched the DSDT for me and it's sorted now. I still lose USB keyboard if I wake from sleep with it, but otherwise stable overclock with F7 BIOS and new new update. So I'm happy enough. Got my Yamakasi 27" 2560x1440 coming in tomorrow and we'll see how this installation looks at native res :)

@Discreetlogic. I thought you might find this useful because the Firewire GUID thing bugs the hell out of you. When I updated tonight and used multibeast to fix the audio, the next reboot it was gone! I then used your DSDT and it was back. Maybe that'll help you find the bug :geek:

I updated.

Opengl and graphics took a hit... investigating.

Just read the post. Don't believe I will be updating quite yet.
Will wait for a better solution as of now the temporary fix only allows 2 steps (16 and x). Not very good for overclocked CPUs as it will be running at full clock 99% of the time.

No kidding.

Not very good for overclocked CPUs as it will be running at full clock 99% of the time.

Not sure, mine's pegged at 1.6ghz according to the new hwmonitor app from multibeast 4.4

EDIT : Taking it back. You were right, in cinebench cpu test, clock jumped to 4.2ghz

Anyone can help me with my problem ?

Every thing was nearly perfect with my Z68XP-UD3P up to today. But without doing anything new on the installation, now, when i turn off the computer everything goes well except that the computer keep running. I mean the scream turn off, every external HD turn off, no more HD activity but fans keep running, i have to hold the start button to turn it off completely...

Any idee ?

Thanks a lot for your answer and sorry for my "frenchy" english.

Pas de probleme.

Your issue sounds to me like you aren't using the dsdt.

are you?

About the new power management, I guess hackintoshing is going to enter a new era of geekness.

After DSDT's here come SSDT's... stay tuned.
