Make sure you don't have any obsolete patches for AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext in your config.plist.

Repair permissions & rebuild cache.

Try with dart=0.

Did you repair permissions & rebuild cache yet.

Your issue is that AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext is not loading. Everything else looks ok.

Try a fresh install.

One other thing. Are you injecting your kexts or do you have them installed to /S/L/E. Recommend installing all kexts you need to /S/L/E.

Also, when you rebuild cache, make sure you do so *soon* after booting. Don't allow time for OS X to unload the AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext.

Use Disk Utility for Repair Permissions.

Use Kext Wizard for Rebuild Cache.

Opening post is updated as per Yosemite 10.10.2.

For QHD+ displays IOKit pixel clock patch is still required.

Installed both PCIID kexts for mobile hd4400 to s/l/e but I don't have transparency in 10.10.2 I'm a beginner when it comes to this stuff so I'm most likely doing something wrong. Any idea as to what it could be?

According to ioreg, it is working. On Yosemite, transparency is very subtle.
