I'm facing "DSMOS HAS ARRIVED” Error then reboot.
I have GTX745 OEM Graphic cards, it seems that's the root cause. Is there anyone who has the same graphic card succeed to install Yosemite ?

I'm considering to buy MSI GTX650 as an alternative which seems to be cheapest but most reliable solution for hackintosh. Any suggestion to share ?

    Thanks,

I followed these instructions and had the DSMOS error and the bluetooth transport error - turns out the thing that fixed it for me (with a GTX 750) was using the boot flags "nv_driver=1 GraphicsEnabler=No". Seems like it could help a lot of the people posting here!

Still working on my wifi though... even bought a DWA-566 specifically for this, it recognizes the card but no networks...

    Hello everyone,

I have this working, but am at Step 17 and can't seem to be able to do this, this is exactly where I'm held up at: "Check the top two options Install for UEFI Booting only and Install Clover in the ESP." Can anyone please help me with this problem?

I had problems where after step 12, the computer would reboot after "DSMOS has arrived" instead of going to gui install. I has able to get to gui install 1) unplugged one of dual monitors on my gtx 750 and used just 1 monitor on the hdmi port. 2) used boot flag "nv_disable=1". I am now formatting my hard disk with disk utility in the gui install.

After formatting hard disk with disk util and installing yosemite onto the hard drive. In Yosemite I downloaded and installed the Nvidia WebDrivers for 10.10 and whenever I'm booting Clover instead of "nv_disable=1" I use "nvda_drv=1" as the boot flags and it works.

Also many people are having problems with the final few steps to get efi boot working without the clover usb key. The problem with the directions is that there should be a step 18a.

18a. Don't forget to copy those 4 kexts you used in step 5 into the EFI volume/EFI/Clover/Kext/10.10 folder. Otherwise you won't be using the fakesmc kext and clover won't say that "DSMOS has arrived" during the boot sequence and will just hang.

Also sound wasn't working (10.10.4), so I found toleda's RealtekALC patch command file works to patch 10.10.4 to work with the rca ports and another kext so that hdmi audio from gtx 750 works as well.

    Thanks for the instructions.

Does anyone have any advice or instructions for the 8700 with the radeon R9 270? I'm getting one with that chip and hope that I can make it work.

I assume since the Yosemite version has been updated, I put the ktexts in the 10.11 folder?

    Thanks

Just wanted to follow up-- the card works perfectly with the two kexts that were linked in this thread:

    http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...snt-work-properly-after-10-10-3-update-2.html

I'm having a few other problems. Has anyone gotten bluetooth wake from sleep to work? Also, I can't even wake from sleep using USB, neither my mouse nor my keyboard will do it (I have to use the power button on the case).

Also, occasionally when I wake from sleep the 8700 will restart instead of waking. Has anyone had that problem?
