Hey guys,

I am really lost. I have spent days and days trying to install macOS Mojave on my windows 10 laptop. I have made like three different bootable USBs but Mojave won't install. I use Clover. It just stops midway through the installation. Side note: This is my first time trying to dual boot another OS.

I am not quite sure what I need to do but it could involve changing my BIOS settings since I only have deactivated secure boot. Does anyone know the BIOS settings I need for dual booting both Mojave and Windows 10? All the posts I have seen cover the BIOS settings just for booting a Hackintosh. That or they say I have to reinstall Windows 10 after macOS, which I don't want to do. I don't want to make the wrong move and not be able to boot Windows, lose any data (although backed up), or ruin something in my computer.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I gave up. The process is much more complicated than I expected. Thanks.

Hey guys,

It is very confusing.

Thanks in advance!
Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

Thanks for your help, RehabMan. Unfortunately, after reading the FAQs section and looking over the guides, I am still lost. When there could be various problems, all in which I don't even fully understand, it is a little overwhelming to figure it out.
