Ok, I modified the Sabertooth X58 DSDT files by following this post. It may or may not work, but I'll be testing it soon.

Scratch that, it didn't work. Now I'm using this guy's DSDT.aml.

See my other post for the new DSDT.aml for the Sabertooth X58. I see that other people have posted other Sabertooth DSDT's, though, so if these don't work you can always try the other ones.

DSDT for the Dell Studio XPS 9100.
Motherboard 05DN3X revision A00. Bios version A02.

Edits: CPU aliases, mutexes, IRQs, HPET, shutdown, DTGP, SBUS, LPC. No HDEF (I use X-Fi).

Use with FakeSMC, sound and network kexts.

Ctrl+F11 in BIOS enables debug settings (including HPET, C1E) but default settings are just fine.

MB: Asus P7H55
CPU: Core i7 870
GPU: Palit Nvidia GT 240 1GB
RAM: Hunix 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3.

Reboot, Shotdown works.
Sleep is unstable (awakes after going to sleep).

I'm using Chameleon 2. RC5. and 32bits kernel mode.
I'm keep fighting to fire up SMBus.
Everything rest works good.

Attached to this post is a Vanilla DSDT file for the Biostar TH55B HD (Original Unupdated Bios, Dated 2009-12-31).

Everything is working great for me using this DSDT, though there are some third party kexts installed because this system originally ran with the Gigabyte GA-H55-UD2H board.

Also, I have seen many guides to editing dsdt files, but is there some preferred guide to making dsdt edits out there somewhere?

anyone thinks that could work on a h55 hd BIOSTAR?

i´m having usb drives problemas, it trhows a kernel panic

Hi. I extracted this using the live CD Ubuntu method.

Current MB:

-Tyan S5397AG2NRF
-Dual Xeon E5420 2.5 Ghz
-4GB DDR2 RAM

-PheonixBIOS
Version 1.03E
Date 07/31/08

Let me know if I missed out on something.

Thanks!
