Motherboard: Biostar T5XE CFX-SLI Ver. 5.x
BIOS: P55DA602.BST
CPU: Intel i7 860 2.8GHz @ 3.42Ghz
Chipset: Intel P55
Memory: 8GB Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9

OS X ver: 10.6.7

com.apple.Boot.plist settings
EthernetBuiltIn=Yes
arch=X86_64

Kexts in /Extra/Extensions:
- ACPIMonitor.kext
- ALC8XXHDA.kext
- EvOreboot.kext
- FakeSMC.kext
- IntelThermal.kext
- Jmicron36xATA.kext

Not working:
1. Reboot (still have to use EvOreboot.kext)
2. ATI Radeon HD 5770 HDMI sound (HMDI video works great)

Mostly it's just fixes to remove compiler warnings, real modifications are working shutdown and fixing the slow sata.

I have just installed this dsdt and it seems to fix my sata 2 problem. many thanks Mike

No manual editing here. But maybe this autopatched DSDT for Asus P8P67 PRO with default 1305 BIOS (for the B3 replacement board) will be useful in some way.

Using the new DSDT for the Maximus III Gene, everything works... except I can't empty the trash. Haha. Otherwise works great. I don't know if the problem is related to the DSDT or not.

Intel S5520SCR Board

EFI Board:
BMC Firmware revision: 0.56
HSC Firmware revision: 0.00
ME Firmware revision: 1.12
SDR Revision: 0.28

What all this means? NFC!

I have extrcted the vanilla DSDT with DSTESE. I don't know enough about editing yet to attempt. If anybody wants to point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

I've been having trouble getting my internet and audio working. I applied the modified dsdt.aml to my system. The internet came to life, but the audio still is not working. Are you guys using any kexts for those, or are you going strictly off of the dsdt? The kexts I currently have in /e/e are AppleYukon2Injector, FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, and IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector. I did have ALC8xxHDA and AppleHDA 10.6.2 and have had no audio with or without them.

Also, my mobo bios is rev. 0702

Thanks

I never use onboard audio on any of my systems so no comment on that.

If you want to run a dsdt from a different bios version you should at least check differences between vanilla versions. I recently upgraded my bios to version 1006 and it had a lot differences compared to my old 0802 version. Somethings might not work correctly with a dsdt from a different bios version.

In /E/E folder I have FakeSMC, IntelCPUMonitor, IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector, RadeonMonitor and SuperIOFamily kext files. You don't need AppleYukon2Injector since Sabertooth has a Realtek LAN chip, not Marvell. And you definitely do not want to use NullCPUPowerManagement since board has powermanagement working out of the box, you only need to enable speedstepping and C-states in bios, no kext files or entries in com.apple.Boot.plist are required. With NullCPUPowerManagement.kext you only break working powermanagement.

This is my dsdt from bios version 1006 if you choose to update your bios.
