Injecting EDID was an attempt to fix the previous blank screen problem.

I've found this git repo by dark-void: https://github.com/the-darkvoid/XPS9360-macOS, following the instructions in readme, I modified the various values accordingly (dvmt-prealloc, dvmt-max, disable cfg-lock).
Subsequently, after changing the kblframbuffer patch in my config.plist to the 80MB framebuffer one, the graphics worked :)
Hi, which ig-platform-id are you using?

Hi
I'm trying to install High Sierra on my 9360 Kaby Lake.
I managed to boot from USB, install on HDD but I have an a crash after "trying" the post installation on HDD.
I've tried to read lots of guides but I'm new to Hackintosh and a bit lost.
Can someone provide some help please?

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

thanks. I've updated my profile
is there any hope to have USB3 hot swap connectivity working? I have a docking station at the office and would prefer to avoid rebooting each time I connect/disconnect
thanks
