Sorry, but I currently don't have enough time and knowledge to debug and research for a fix. This Vostro 5470 is my current laptop at work, so it would not be wise to use it as a testing machine.
Good luck.
Thanks for answering. In fact I was talking about using my notebook. I would installing and posted the rights and wrongs.

Thank you. I saw that helped some users to change the DSDT in notebook Vostro 5470. Can you give us a force to shutdown problem solution on the Vostro 5470? This support means a lot to help people with this notebook model also solve this problem.

The problem may not be related to ACPI... If you have some details to go with your assumption, then perhaps I can help...

Windows 10 corrupted my bios.. can anyone get a bios dump from vostro 5470 for me? Thanks in advance!

First, thank you for helping. I recentimente tried to install OSX Yosemite, however just being held back by the issue of bug in shutdown. I wanted a clear tutorial on how to install the El Capitan, so complete the installation I'll provide details for you. I run this time Windows 8.1, or have to work in Dual Boot.
HD Details:
500GB - 1 PARTITION (180GB, WINDOWS 8.1) and the rest available for partitioning and ready to install whatever it takes.

Go apologizing for English Google Translator ... :)

You can get the bios directly from Dell:
http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03410618M/1/5470A12.exe

Using cmd extract the bios with:
5470A12.exe /writehdrfile

Copy the extracted files to a clean usb flash drive (fat32).
Open the laptop, disconnect batteries and hard disk. Also disconnect the power cable.
Connect the flash drive to the usb near the hdmi port and hold Win+B. Reconnect the power cable and wait around 15 seconds. Now click the power button and after a couple of seconds release the Win+B. You'll hear a few beeps and the power led flashing, the system will open the recovery and do the rest for you.

I read the whole topic and found a post from RehabMan that somehow got ignored. He gave the tip to use the correct ResetAddress and ResetValue on Clover.
Clover reference:
https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/ACPI#ResetAddress-and-ResetValue

Checking FACP for the correct values:
Code:
[074h 0116 12] Reset Register : [Generic Address Structure]
[074h 0116 1] Space ID : 01 [SystemIO]
[075h 0117 1] Bit Width : 08
[076h 0118 1] Bit Offset : 00
[077h 0119 1] Encoded Access Width : 01 [Byte Access:8]
[078h 0120 8] Address : 00000000000000B2

[080h 0128 1] Value to cause reset : A8
[081h 0129 2] ARM Flags (decoded below) : 0000
                              PSCI Compliant : 0
Must use HVC for PSCI : 0

ResetRegister: 0xB2
ResetValue: 0xA8

Could someone test if this fixes the shutdown?

I apologize for not answering before, I was still trying to install the El Capitan.

Help: I'm having trouble starting the installation of El Capitan in my vostro 5470, it appears a quick screen at the beginning of the install mode and restarts.
Error message: "panic (cpu 0 caller ...)".

I tried using: IntelCapri = 5 and 3 variants 2

The following config: Vostro 5470, VGA Intel HD 4400, i5, 4GB and 2GB NVIDIA

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Note: Capri is HD4000/Ivy, not HD4400/Haswell.

Thanks for answering. My knowledge is little about hackintosh then searched the tutorials now, but not econtrei information specific to my problem. I tried also search on google success.

Don't forget to declare the Memory on config.plist. This is a requirement to boot El Capitan on this laptop.
