Dell Inspiron 15 7559 - Sleep Issues

I'm not clairvoyant... no idea without all files previously requested.

I feel like I've done too many irrelevant patches and such ... So I'm starting over on my ACPI patching in the hopes that I'll get it to work this time

However, when I patch my DSDT to find / replace GFX0 to IGPU, I get a KP on boot...
Would you happen to know why this would happen? I'll provide files again if needed:think:

Thanks!

-Duncan

Hey all,

I've gone ahead and repatched everything, and I still get the same result (I wonder why) ...
The patch that I apply for attempting to fix instant wake is 'USB 0x6D _PRW (Skylake instant wake)' in RHM's Laptop DSDT patch repo.

What do I do now?

I'll reattach all of my files to this post as well ...

Thank you!

-Duncan

Boot verbose, show photo. Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

That is not the same problem as previously reported... previously you were getting "instant wake" (auto wake up shortly after sleep).
Sounds like you're not getting that now...

Now you seem to have "reboot or panic after wake from sleep"...

Your config.plist has strange things (SlpSmiAtWake, PatchAPIC, DropOEM_DSM, etc) in it. See guide for correct config.plist: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, minStolenSize patch not recommended (it may cause instability). Set DVMT-prealloc as per FAQ instead.

Make sure you disabled hibernation.

ACPI is not patched correctly. For example, there is no accommodation for _OSI("Darwin") (lack of "OS Check Fix" patches). There may be other missing patches... Since one of the major "common patches" was missing, I didn't check further.

See guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/

I have gone ahead and removed SlpSmiAtWaje, PatchAPIC, DropOEM_DSM, and minStolenSize patch (removing them had no impact on performance).

I've also added the OS Check Fix patch, and I'm still getting KP on wake ...

Anything else? I'll reattach my files, and do some research in the meantime ...

Thanks!

Make sure you apply all applicable "common patches" in the ACPI guide.

I'm not too sure which applicable patches I'd need to use...

So far, I have the following common patches being used:
OS Check Fix
IRQ Fix

Is there a way to determine whether each 'common patch' would be applicable to my problem? The only one that comes to mind for me is _WAK Arg0 v2 ...
I will report back and see if adding this common patch does anything ..

Thanks!

-Duncan
