Hi,
I've followed your tutorial and still can't seem to get things working. I have the exact same setup as you (Dell 7548) but I'm really desperate for help. Is there any possibility that you could provide me a zip of your installation settings? I've used the one on your post but I just can't seem to get it working.

Did you patch IOKit?

I had this shelved for the last month but now I have proceeded with the IOKit patch. Still pretty much the same but noticed the screen flashes the full resolution when I flip through available resolutions but then goes black with anything over 1680 x 945.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Did you verify IOKit is patched? (check md5 before and after the patch).

Which ig-platform-id are you using?

What is DVMT-prealloc set to?

Did you try creating a custom resolution with refresh rate less than 60Hz? (eg. 59).

No, I didn't verify it was patched. I will go back and do it over. I do know that before that the internal display would not display anything. I have used 0x16160002, 0x16160000, and 0x16260006. DVMT-prealloc is set to 128MB. I will try to set a customized resolution. I only tried to select the 48hz 3840x2160 but it would not work.
