Hey Danimator, I have the same card too! I was wondering if the digital in and outs are working as well. I don't see what they wouldn't, but was wondering if they indeed work. I'm trying to put my Hackintosh together as well, and I would love to use this card!!

Thanks

What have you used to make it work? voodoohda included in the last multibeast?
Have you deleted the applehda file?

Thanks for the help! ;)

I think it "should work" with voodooHDA included with Multibeast
Your Audio Card is like one of us with the same specs...
* Creative 20K2 audio processor
* X-RAM 64M bytes

But for the driver that Danimator posted I don't know!

I wanted answers myself here for my upcoming X-Fi Titanium audio board
that I will get soon (May be today...) So I can't test... :(

I think you don't need to delete the "appleHDA.kext" I read that VoodooHDA don't mess with that kext...

Please, tell me what you have done! :p

@IG-88Droid, I haven't installed it just yet. I'm going to build the system this Pres. Day weekend. I was just trying to see if there was success with the installation of this card. I got it for a great price; saved $65 with Newegg Shell Shocker. I'll let you know what I used if someone doesn't beat me to it! :D

omg, befor i read this Thread i sell my PCIe Fatality pro and buy the Auzentech Forte 7.1

This sucks...

And Now, sell auzentech and rebuy fatality Pro ? argh

I do not trust me, because my system run very good...

ahh ok i try it, but which Files do i need (Multibeast voodooHDA oder latest 2.7.2 ??)

and which files delete ??
And how do i install this modified Files ?

Thanks.

Just to know, what have you done/install to get it working?

Thanks for helping us! :D

Hmmm ok after 1 day testing, i have a LITTLE problem :)

I mean in the beginning i mute Sound in itunes and ALL Boxes are quit.

Now, only the GREEN (Front left/Front right) can i mute... the other Boxes (Side, Center/Sub Rear) are not quit... what happened ?

And its crazy, after every boot, i must go to Preferences - Sound, and "activate" the other Channel (Side, Center/Sub Rear), but if i do not, then work only the GREEN (Front left/right)...

On the Screenshot thats my default setting, only this position works for me.

Yeah! Same thing like me! After a restart/sleep/shutdown... Only left and right :thumbdown:
I have a Creative X-FI Titanium by the way...

But you only need to activate a channel other than the green and the rest will follow...
Strange... But I think we're not alone with this!
