Even with minimal, it still has color banding after injecting EDID.

Your ioreg proves EDID not injected:

Reason: No AAPL00,override-no-connect entry in config.plist/Devices/Properties/PciRoot(0)/Pci(2,0).

So injecting EDID in Clover configurator/Graphics doesn’t work?
Also, what do I need to write in the value for key AAPL00,override-no-connect?

It works only if the property is listed in Devices/Properties.
Just copy the entry from the guide plist and uncomment it (remove leading #).

Okay. I did it but still got color banding. AAPL00,override-no-connect now shows up in IOREG.

Experiment with different EDID patching, different ig-platform-id values.

Note: You failed to implement backlight control correctly...

I tried all EDID and none of them worked. I used FixEDID to generate override folder and copied them to /System/Library/Displays/Overrides, rebooted but none one them fixed color banding. I also tried different ig-platform-id values but still, none worked.
About backlight control, I got that using SSDT-BRT6.aml (brightness control keys work fine) in ACPI/patched so I guess it's unnecessary.

My suggestion is more along the lines of understanding EDID and doing your own patching.
There is an EDID article on wikipedia.

The SSDT-BRT6.aml is related to brightness keys, not brightness control.
