No not yet, I'm still on Yosemite and never even tried El Capitan.

I have upgraded and 99% is working. The one thing that is not which I had under 10.10 was the 5.1 channel support.

I have a spare SSD and I'm going to give it a try this long weekend. You wouldn't happen to have a screenshot of the Multibeast settings that you used? I downloaded the Sierra Multibeast and there are settings that I used in the past that are not there anymore.

I never tried Sierra, no "Pascal" drivers on the horizon yet. I'm waiting and if they never show up I'm leaning towards Linux Mint.

Have you tried "Sierra", we have very similar builds and should try installing at the same time. There's not a lot to follow with this combo, i7-4790k and Z87X-UD5H.
