Hi,

Could someone point me in the right direction? What is this error I'm experiencing which is preventing my hakintosh from sleeping?

I get these two errors:

Kernel Assertions: 0x4=USB
id=501 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/2002 00:18 description=EUSB owner=AppleUSBEHCI
id=503 level=255 0x4=USB mod=01/01/2002 00:23 description=USB6 owner=AppleUSBUHCI

CGXDisplayDidWakeNotification

Any help would be appreciated

It will be better if you can share the full output of the command. The above is showing two devices connected to USB.

Code:
pmset -g
Code:
pmset -g assertions

Apologies for the delayed reply. please find the full pm assertions output below:

Assertion status system-wide:

BackgroundTask 0

UserIsActive 0

PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0

PreventSystemSleep 0

As per the above output, there is nothing present which can prevent the sleep.

What are the two USB devices connected to the system?

Thank you for your prompt reply but sleep is defo not working. basically the monitor shuts off but the fans stay on and then i need to hard reset because it won't turn back on?

Any ideas?

Try booting with "darkwake=0", then check sleep.

I have "darkwake=0" as a bootflag in my config.plist file already. same error occurs as previous? I cant shutdown either so maybe it could related but i can restart without any problems.

any further help would be appreciated.
