Yes. Nothing else needed.

It will change the device description to "THIRD_PARTY_DONGLE" but at least it should work again.

Backup first obviously.
Do you need BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext or any of the Brcm kext files?

My bluetooth appeared and i could see my mouse but it wouldnt connect

BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext should not be used in Monterey

I was actually just reading that and changed my kexts, not that it made any difference. I have the bluetooth symbol showing and i can see my mouse but it will not connect.

I have:

BlueToolFixup.kext
BrcmFirmwareData.kext
BrcmPatchRAM2
BrcmPatchRam3

you only need 1 BrcmPatchRAM, remove BrcmPatchRAM2

ahh ok, just tried it but it did not work.

I can see the mouse, i click connect and nothing happens. The first time i try it, after booting, i get a connection lost box popup. But after that the device kinda vanishes from the bluetooth device list.

I tried resetting NVRAM, but it didnt do anything.

Which dongle do you have? and do you have monterey with working bluetooth??

I use a BCM94360NG which requires no kexts

Cool, thanks for that. I think i'll get one, seems to sort it and will give me airdrop.

Do you need the 2 wires to clip on the card? Do they clip on the motherboard?

on my laptop, there are 2 wires that clip onto it for wireless and bluetooth

My BT dongle is a Belkin which has a BCM20702A Broadcom chipset. For this only the BlueToolFixup.kext was needed in Monterey, but take on board @Feartech 's advice.

:)
