Cannot install newest Catalina update.

I am trying to update to 10.15.7. Currently I am on 10.15.4.

I tried updating via the preference pane. Download goes well and computer restarts. However, the computer boots right back in the old version. In the clover boot screen I cannot see the 'install catalina' option. There is only the regular ones.

Kexts are all updated through Hackintool.

Clover is 5119.

Any ideas?

Did you try pressing F3 in clover menu? Maybe the option is hidden. Happened to me once.

Hi there.

A couple of ideas:

1) Does the 10.15.7 update appear in your Drive: Library/Updates folder?

If so select the largest non-recovery file and run that.

2) Download Catalina from the App Store if it is available. OR do so on a real Mac. Then create a new UniBeast installer. Because macOS is already installed on your PC, it will just update it.

3) Download just the update direct from Apple. See this post:

I suggest downloading the 10.15.7 Combo Update from Apple and run that :

Thank you for the reply. Downloaded the update combo resulting in the same disappointing result.

Fortunately the Unibeast installer did the trick! Now on 10.15.7 and nothing has been lost in the process. Much appreciated! Thank you
