Hi, my name is Santiago, and last night I installed Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks edition. I´m having some issues when trying to create a bootcamp partition to install Windows 7 as a 2nd bootable OS.
Here you have some specs. about my hard drives:
HDD 1
Partition A: Mac OS X (bootable)
HDD 2
Partition B: Windows 7 (previously installed, but CAN´T BOOT --> could this be related to the command UseKernelCache=No ??)
The thing is, when I went through the setup process for Mac OS, I typed this command UseKernelCache=No and could not boot my Windows anymore, and now I can´t re-type that command with the Yes option.
Moreover, my bootcamp app is not available, when I click on it, nothing happens at all, I did it like 20 or 30 times, but nothing happened. I would like to be able to create a bootable partition for my Windows 7 OS.
I would find really thankful if someone could help me with this, I don´t know where to start and I tried Googling my problem but nothing came handy for solving it. Thank you in advance and sorry for my English, it´s not my native language.
Regards,
Santiago
