300/200/100 Series/1. Rename dsdt/HDAS to HDEF/2. ssdt injection/Audio ID: 1

Restart
HDMI audio: AppleHDA HDMI Audio/Post #1/cloverHDMI
887 audio: if interested, proceed with Post #1
im using applealc an lilu audio id 2 with a Realtek® ALC887 chip is there a diff with hdmi audio?

I have an asus prime z270-A, the audio codec is ALC1220A. I'm trying with no success. In IOreg I don´t see nothing like HDEF or HDAS. Multibeast has it in drivers but says that only in Asus Rog Strix, so this codec is still not supported except in that particular mobo? Thx

The 1220A is supported in ASUS Prime, ROG STRIX and TUF motherboards.
Select MultiBeast/.../:

It works now (after a clean install). But output device is internal speaker? I also have a hum noise that start some seconds after audio stops.

Native hardware has an Internal Speaker, non native hardware has the green port.
See AppleHDA Realtek Audio/Post #1/VII. Audio IDs/1. Audio ID: 1

A problem specific to your system, likely, a grounding problem.
Otherwise, post to the Audio Forum. Off topic.

HI, my audio devices was not showing after installing codec ALC1220A with multibeast as toleda posted. This was because in bios DVI audio =enabled, disabled and audio devices are back. mobo Asus Prime bios Z270-A

No affect on 1220A onboard audio.
Yes, in my case, DVI audio option is below HD audio=enable/disable in bios (think audio trough dvi is from Realtek chip). Clean install, I was missing audio devices after properly installation with multibeast and after change DVI audio=disable audio devices appeared.
