I've observed that many just want the shortest route to solve their particular issue, without actually having to contribute much beyond 'please help'. Even when given a workable solution, some (if it involves more than a few clicks, or edits to achieve it) will ignore it and ask the same question of others ad infinitum. C'est la vie. People are people.Unfortunately in forums there are mainly 2 types of people (this is just for fun, please don't take it too seriously):
1. can have a discussion about problems. Someone raises a new problem. Like this memory leak issue. Clearly no one has the solution. But ideas get thrown around (don't go judging people in a brainstorm), but from these crazy ideas, people might work out where the problem lies, or better still, work out a solution. Unfortunately you need the right people for this. The discussion will go no where with the wrong ones, they will just shoot you down like a knee jerk reaction, by saying BS, check your system (like the grumpy old uncle at x'mas lunches)
2. is the tired from work, can't be bothered to read what people write fully (the post might be just 2 sentences, but they want it in 2 words), too tired to think about if there is a problem or not, and immediately either type "put down your specs" or "check your system". Worst still they are moderators. Seriously if you can help, then help; if you can't, at least be polite, don't spread your negative energy around. The person obviously wasn't asking you in the first place (you clearly have no energy, no time, and no ability)... well but we still love you

- Those who can extrapolate from incomplete information, and
