<< Solved >> BCM94352Z not working with BlueToolFixup

Unfortunately in forums there are mainly 2 types of people (this is just for fun, please don't take it too seriously):

1. can have a discussion about problems. Someone raises a new problem. Like this memory leak issue. Clearly no one has the solution. But ideas get thrown around (don't go judging people in a brainstorm), but from these crazy ideas, people might work out where the problem lies, or better still, work out a solution. Unfortunately you need the right people for this. The discussion will go no where with the wrong ones, they will just shoot you down like a knee jerk reaction, by saying BS, check your system (like the grumpy old uncle at x'mas lunches) :lolno:

2. is the tired from work, can't be bothered to read what people write fully (the post might be just 2 sentences, but they want it in 2 words), too tired to think about if there is a problem or not, and immediately either type "put down your specs" or "check your system". Worst still they are moderators. Seriously if you can help, then help; if you can't, at least be polite, don't spread your negative energy around. The person obviously wasn't asking you in the first place (you clearly have no energy, no time, and no ability)... well but we still love you :p
I've observed that many just want the shortest route to solve their particular issue, without actually having to contribute much beyond 'please help'. Even when given a workable solution, some (if it involves more than a few clicks, or edits to achieve it) will ignore it and ask the same question of others ad infinitum. C'est la vie. People are people.

this is really off topic. But the problem with this forum is, Tonymacx has been spoiling us from the start. It was pretty much a fool proof method to install MacOS. Now with OpenCore, things aren't as easy. Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful to the team, but just means we are not very good at finding solutions. And if people can be a bit more patient, and share a bit more kindness, it would go a long way :)

You're right, it's off topic, as is this: Half the difficulty lies in the relatively fast pace of O.C. development; it's a moving target. I just blinked and the baseline changed to 0.7.5!

The kexts I am using and their order is:

Lilu
VirtualSMC
WhateverGreen
AppleALC
USBPorts
Some Voodoo keyboard and trackpad kexts
AirportBrcmFixup
AirportBrcmNIC_Injector
BlueToolFixup

I tried enabling PatchRam3 and FirmwareData, but that didn't work either.
"AirportBrcmFixup.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortBrcmNIC_Injector.kext" this is the correct way to enable the NIC injector kext

Edit: remove firmwaredata.kext only use patch ram3 but be sure to manually inject the NIC injector kext from the airport plugins

I tried that now but still no connection for iPad. The patch ram3 kext did not load when viewed with kextstat | grep -v com.apple. I assume it should show up as loaded. The bluetooth still shows up as THIRD_PARTY_DONGLE.

same here.
BT shows as enabled. I can switch it on|off but cannot connect with any device. Getting "connection rejected" on magic mouse or headphones.
Tried with only BlueTool kext or with ram3 without success.

I have already downgraded to Big Sur from Monterey, which works perfectly for me so I am asking this question so when all the problems have a working solution I will upgrade.

Opencore guide doesn't mention of removing firmwaredata.kext or ParchRam3.kext but only talks about disabling BliuetoothInjector.kext as far as I recall with following settings & v2.6.0 Wifi/BT was working in Monterey for me. (Have not done extensive testing) Please test for Screen mirror on Mac, Airplay 2 sleep, etc.

Still can’t connect to my iPad. I will try version 2.6.2 today and let you know if that solves the problem.
