I'm curious if anyone has considered the possibility of a hackintosh built on the B760 chipset and intel 13th gen. I see plenty of discussion on the Z790 thread and I wonder if the B760 is a worthy drop-in replacement, or if there would be compatibility issues affecting MacOS. Specifically I'm looking at the ASRock B760M motherboard since I don't need ddr5 or overclocking.

If the Z690 / Z790 works, chances are B760 should also work.

Of course you will need to have a supported AMD graphics card if you want to try to install and run MacOS. CPU integrated graphics are NOT supported.

Thanks for the guidance. I have an RX 5700 XT in my current hackintosh which I plan to pull for use in my new build. I will probably get an i7-13700F (no onboard graphics) since it would not work with MacOS anyway.

Hi guys,

I just started my build with a B760 Creator, and everything is working fine except the Intel Ethernet 1GB; it didn't show on network settings. It should work with IntelMausi right ? It works on Windows, BTW.

The 2.5 works fine.

I would appreciate some help if you can.

TY!

My new build is complete and working. I used MrMinimizer's EFI as a template (see this thread). My setup is as follows:
motherboard: ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 LGA 1700 DDR4 Micro ATX
cpu: Intel Core i7-13700F Raptor Lake
gpu: Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT
other good stuff:
psu: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3
cooling: MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R V2
storage: PNY XLR8 CS3030 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
ram: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200

This motherboard uses the Realtek 8111H chipset for Ethernet and I've had no issues with the RealtekRTL8111 V2.4.2 kext (installed via OpenCore).
I should update my tonymacx86 build signature but I'm not sure how to do that since B760 is not one of the listed chipsets. Anyone know how to get those updated? Even my previous hackintosh is not accurately represented (I actually used a B250M in that build, not H270).

Hey! Can I use MSI B760m-A WiFi DDR5 motherboard. I am especially buying this mobo for hackinthosh build. Please give your reviews.

Sure you can. I used MSI B760M Mortar Max WiFi to make my new Hackintosh. It was quite simple to make after all.
