I told you that SMBIOS alone will not change anything. But on the X299 platform, at least it detects graphics cards on PCI well.

SMBIOS is important, ie iMac Pro does not have an iGPU and it's important. macOS sees it differently and does certain things in the background.

Maybe going from iMac Pro to Mac Pro SMBIOS doesn't make a difference (performance wise), but going from iMac to Mac Pro will. And the ACPI tables have to be different too.
