That was it. Thanks for all the help. If I may, could I ask one more thing? What's the difference between the DSDT and the SSDT and why are they important? So I get that Clover gives you the original DSDT in the "origin" folder and you place the patched one into "patched" but then where is the SSDT?

SSDTs are simply extensions to DSDT. They are all merged at runtime into an ACPI namespace so an ACPI compliant OS can execute the code contained within them to accomplish various tasks or ascertain information about the hardware configuration.

There is more information in the (~1000 page) ACPI spec.

I also have asus S400CA. I have Mavericks working with old clover. I tried updating to Yosemite. But it hangs while I try to run install. Can you please post your clover folder please.

My problem solved. I have working Yosemite with clover r3202
