Asus ProArt z790 - BIOS updates!

Need some help breaking down this report. Periodically after a wake from sleep, my hack will reboot after logging in. From my understanding it has something to do with the Bluetooth side of things. However can't quite work it out.

Anyone else having this issue with their hacks? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The log says your USB ports are causing the reboot. So you need to check your USB configuration settings are correct.

Thanks for the response, what's the best way to check and correct this?

Test each USB port with a USB2.0, USB3.0 or Type-C device to see which port is activated in Hackintool > USB tab and IORegistryExplorer. As you test each port make sure the connector type is set correctly for the physical nature of the USB port.

The Hackintool > USB tab screenshot below shows the USB configuration for one of my AMD systems. Each port was set and tested to confirm that they were set with the correct USB 'connector typ'e. The drop down sub-menu for each entry under the 'Connector' column can be used to change the current type to suit each port.

The three ports with no 'Comment' entry are unused Internal USB2 header ports, which I chose to leave in the USBPorts.kext for possible changes in the future.

I'll test and report back with any questions, thanks for the detailed explanation.

Hi there. I need some help or advice.
My components
  • CPU 14900k
  • Matherboard Asus-Proart-z790 (latest bios 2102)
  • GPU 6700xt (was working on prev PC)
  • SSD NVME WD_BLACK SN850X
What i did:
Copy EFI folder from this msg: link from @SmackAttack , generate SMBIOS information.
Make first part of installating (from USB), and now when i trying to book from NVME for complete installation- process stuck.
Here debug log files: with EFI

I don't think a 6700xt is a supported GPU for Mac OS
