Hello hackintoshers! First time poster.
I was able to get this laptop to run Mountain Lion 10.8.3. Just thought I'd share my results as well as ask a few questions.
First, let's start with hardware and specs:
- Intel Core i7 (Ivy Bridge) 3630QM @ 2.4 GHz
- 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 @ 2x 8GB
- Intel HD 4000 Graphics
Anyways, here is what I've found not working from minor tinkering:
- Depends on Safe Boot, PCIRootUID flags (-x and PCIRootUID=0)
- Wireless LAN
- Trackpad (Possibly from Safe Booting, cannot manually load)
- HDMI
Problems:
- If no Safe Boot, then black screens on boot
- Only USB Mouse works. (Onboard keyboard still works)
Things I did:
- Unibeast Mountain Lion
- Mountain Lion 10.8.3 Install App
- Multibeast for Mountain Lion
- Manually Tweaked Resolution (See below)
Other than that, I have a functioning hackintosh that I did minor tweaks to, such as graphics(modified Info.plist and Themes/Info.plist). If any of you can solve my smaller problems, that would greatly be appreciated. Other than that, enjoy the information!
