So after much struggle, I finally am able to get Mavericks installed on a partition of my hard drive. However, I simply cannot get it to recognize the GeForce GTX660M that is in this laptop.

I've found numerous threads out there that have to do with Kepler GPUs (which this is), but the things that I've tried have not worked.

I have tried this, which I think is the best bet right now:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/123974-nvidia-web-drivers-10-9-x-mavericks-found.html
which caused me to be unable to boot after switching from "Native" to "Web" driver after restarting and switching. I think that this is probably the right thing to do, and I did something wrong along the way?

I also used a DSDT for my motherboard that I fixed up myself, though I didn't add any patches because I didn't know what to include; I just made it compile with no errors/warnings/remarks/etc.

Any help at all would be appreciated, I feel like I'm so close I can taste it, but I keep falling short. Thanks!

Using a DSDT without changes does nothing.

Have you tried GraphicsEnabler=No? Do you have a signal at HDMI?

You might also search for threads with similar/same hardware.

I was under the impression that GraphicsEnabler=No was the default, though I'll try it explicitly.

I do have an HDMI signal. It didn't actually occur to me that this is noteworthy until you mentioned it, but I've been doing all of this on my external monitor over HDMI, even the Unibeast USB drive.

I have searched for other people with the same hardware, and found these two threads:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptop-compatibility/62768-gk107-hackintosh-laptop.html
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...-g75vw-as71-mountain-lion-install-thread.html
But they both just end, quite a while ago, with no conclusion.

I should also mention that, before I couldn't boot, OS X would tell me in the System Report that the graphics installed was a "NVIDIA Chipset 7MB," or something along those lines -- I remember the 7MB because the card that I have has 2GB of VRAM. So maybe it sees it, just not correctly? Not sure.

EDIT:
Just tried again with an explicit GraphicsEnabler=No, and the same happened. With -v, here are the last few lines of the output before it stops:

You probably need DSDT patches (nvidia specific) to enable the internal LVDS display. I do not know the details as I don't have any such hardware.

Hmm, alright. Any idea where I might find such things?
