AppleHDA HDMI Audio [Guide]

Wrong EFI partition mounted, try again.

I wish you were right but my other disk's EFI partition does not contain CLOVER nor any config.plist just debian/opewrt-lede files. So your script would not execute on it.
Code:
Martins-iMac:~ mxxxxxx$ ls -l /Volumes/EFI2/
total 11784
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 1e760a61aed145ebad990ec0a175b23d
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 EFI
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 loader
-rwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 2775472 14 Nov 2017 vmlinuz-old.lede
-rwxrwxrwx@ 1 mxxxxxx staff 3239984 3 Sep 20:30 vmlinuz.lede
Martins-iMac:~ mxxxxxx$ ls -l /Volumes/EFI2/EFI/
total 24
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 BOOT
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 debian
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 4096 14 Nov 2017 systemd
Here is the EFI partition of my OSX disk
Code:
Martins-iMac:~ mxxxxxx$ ls -l /Volumes/EFI/EFI/
total 9
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 512 16 Aug 23:12 APPLE
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 512 25 Sep 23:59 BOOT
drwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 1536 28 Sep 23:49 CLOVER
-rwxrwxrwx 1 mxxxxxx staff 1556 25 Sep 23:59 Clover_Install_Log.txt

So your script would not execute on it.
Script output:
Code:
Download HD6000 HDMI audio connector edits ...
HDMI audio edited /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist installed
Where did the patch go?

Fix: using Xcode, copy the the t2-10.10-10.11-BDW02040a-Port_0x6-DP2HDMI patch from the edited config.plist in the thread to you linked to your current config.plist.

I've done that (see the config.plist) that is attached. Still no audio devices present after a reboot. All debug files are also attached.

VirtualBox?
Mojave is running directly on the hardware. I do have virtual box autostart running for one linux terminal only instance.

Edit: Just to add, I have not changed the setup from the previous OS (Sierra) - I also had the same linux instance autostarting at boot and had no sound issues. Just to be sure, I've disabled it now and rebooted - no change.
