Anyone got the LG 34" 34WK95U Monitor Working on Hackintosh?

Very interested in this monitor. I prefer Ultrawide to Retina, and this seems like the first solution that gives both. Curious to know of issues though since it looks finicky as all hell to get working at max res (2018 MacBook Pros can't do it because of Mojave bugs, etc.)

I´m using the LG 38UC99-W with no problems on my hackintosh Sierra. I have the Amd Radeon Aorus 580x card. Using this LG along with my old Apple Cinema Display 30inch monitor

Let me give you some advice you don't want to know... I also have an LG 38 inch wide screen as well as an LG 32 inch 4k monitor and a BenQ 32 inch 4k monitor. Save your money and get the 32 inch 4k monitor. More desktop space and much less money. I got my VA based LG 32" for $350 but it is easy to get for $400. I regret the $800 I paid for the 38 inch. It's cool but not really worth it.

Just got one. Intel, High Sierra, GTX 1060. Works, 30 Hz only over Displayport. Needed SwitchResX to get HiDPI properly set up.

With a good video card like that, why can't it do 60? The cable?

Beats me. 60Hz works in Windows. I blame it on the driver.

I quite not underestand SwitchresX purpose, I can add custom resolution into system but I need 5120x2160 resolution with Larger Text and Larger Application enviroment because its tiny now
Best resoliutions for eyes are HiDPI marked, i would be fine with half of 5K2K but then I want more space
