thanks a lot for your help )
i did a big mistake
the kext pack i used only works on a mac os x Lion hackintosh..
with mountain lion, you can only make sound work !
no wifi or ethernet, no battery (there's a battery icon in the menu bar but there's an X on it... no %...)
anyway; i'll tell you if it worked or not
thanks again !!
(sorry if my english is so so, i'm tunisian )
I got the battery to work, but i still have no WIFI and it kernel panics after installing the modified kexts for power management.
cd /Volumes/OSX
mkdir /Extra
cp /Volumes/UNIBEAST/DSDT.aml /Volumes/OSX/Extra
1. Using the original BIOS
If you choose this you will NEED NullCpuPowerManagement.kext, which breaks sleep, so you have to use SleepEnabler.kext to enable it back.
Biggest disadvantage is that you will lose TurboBoost (TurboBoost technology is only available on i5 and i7 CPUs, i3 CPUs don't have it).
If you want to go with your untouched BIOS, install all the kexts that i've attached using kextutility or similar software, install latest FakeSMC (link), install a bootloder (Chameleon/Chimera, available on osx86.net) and finally configure your boot options and SMBios.plist using Chameleon wizard or similar software. (MacBookPro 8,1)
2. Using a modded BIOS (which is made by akbar102):
This way your hackintosh can use vanilla AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, thus you will have TurboBoost (means ~1000 points increase in geekbench score) and sleep works natively. Besides, this BIOS is unlocked and you can use advanced features like UEFI booting. Just keep in mind that if you choose this method, you will NEED propper SSDT (which is included in the package), otherwise you'll get kernel panic.
If you want to go with modded BIOS (AT YOUR OWN RISK), first find your SSDT.aml from the attached file and copy it to the "Extra" folder on your HDD.
Then install modded BIOS either using Windows or copy P5WE0x64.fd on a USB stick, attach it to your laptop, turn it off, hold fn+esc and turn it back on.
Now boot into OS X, Then go ahead and install the kexts I provided using kextutility or similar software EXCEPT for NullCPUPowerManagement AND SleepEnabler, install latest FakeSMC (link), install a bootloder (Chameleon/Chimera, available on osx86.net) and finally configure your boot options and SMBios.plist using Chameleon wizard or similar software. (MacBookPro 8,1)
