Hi Guys,
I recently made an almost identical build to my previous one but this one i was trying to Overclock.
i7 3770K + Gigabyte z77x-UD5H on BIOS ver F14
i've ready tons of posts, forums, and overclock website so i can correctly understand instead of just punching in numbers.
currently running on a stock Fan but
As a first step, i want to get a grasp of it and go upto a stable 4.0ghz~4.2ghz
However, if i change anything at all (multiplier, voltage, vdroop, even the value of TURBO up just 0.1ghz) the BIOS will not boot disc. What could i be doing wrong?
are there any specific order or prep settings i must do before i can even touch anything? or could it be a bad motherboard?
