UEFI Settings

• Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP F7
• VT-d: Disabled
• XHCI Mode: Auto
• EHCI Handoff: Enabled
• XHCI Handoff: Enabled
• Intel Processor Graphics: Disabled

Clover Install USB

1. Create native install media from OS X Terminal:

   • [COLOR=#000000]sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --no interaction[/COLOR]

2. Download Clover from sourceforge
3. Install Clover to the USB with:
   • "Install for UEFI booting only"
   • "Install Clover in the ESP"
   • Drivers64UEFI:
     • EmuVariableUefi-64
     • OsxAptioFixDrv-64
     • PartitionDxe-64
4. Go to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10/ in Finder
   • Add FakeSMC.kext
   • Add this ethernet kext

Installation

1. Turn on the computer
2. Press F12 to select boot device; select your USB and press Enter
3. When the Clover boot screen is visible, chooseBoot OS X Install from Install OS X Yosemite
4. The system will boot into OS X Installer
5. Erase your disk:
   1. Choose Disk Utility
   2. Highlight your target hard drive for the Yosemite installation in left column.
   3. Click Partition tab
   4. Click Current and choose 1 Partition
   5. Click Options...
   6. ChooseGUID Partition Table
   7. Under Name: type Yosemite
   8. Under Format: chooseMac OS X Extended (Journaled)
   9. Click Apply then Partition
   10. Close Disk Utility
6. When the installer asks you where to install, choose Yosemite
7. The progress bar may appear to be stuck at "About 1 second remaining". Don't turn off the computer. Be patient. It may take up to 30 minutes for it to complete. When it is finished, the computer will restart.
8. Press F12 to select boot device; select your USB and press Enter
9. When the Clover boot screen is visible, choose Boot OS X Install from Install OS X Yosemite
10. The system will complete the installation, before rebooting a second time.
11. Press F12 to select boot device; select Yosemite and press Enter
12. The system will launch OS X Setup

Post-Install

1. Bootloader
   1. Download Clover from sourceforge
   2. Install Clover to Yosemite with the following settings:
      • "Install for UEFI booting only"
      • "Install Clover in the ESP"
      • Drivers64UEFI:
        • EmuVariableUefi-64
        • OsxAptioFixDrv-64
        • PartitionDxe-64
   3. Go to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10/ in Finder
      • Add FakeSMC.kext
      • Add AppleIntelE1000E.kext
2. Ethernet
   1. ​After following the last step, Clover will inject your ethernet kext at boot. You won't have to do anything else to get it working.
3. Audio
   1. ​Download audio_CloverALC from here
   2. Unzip the archive
   3. Unzip audio_cloverALC-100.command.zip
   4. Make sure your EFI partition is mounted.
   5. Run audio_cloverALC-100_v1.0.3.command
      1. Codec: ALC892
      2. Layout ID: 1
   6. Reboot

and about the audio - so Command did not want to recognize the mounted EFI. then after installing Clover copy the folder EFI from partition EFI to the root partition, run the command set (just y y y y) and copied back.
