I installed 10.13.2 yesterday and for the first time since I had a hackintosh I experienced this problem. Basically my computer stops for a few seconds and then starts again. FixShutdown didn't work for me. I disabled wake on lan function and now shutdown works for me.

Ok sorry for confusing you. My HDDs turn off when computer sleeps. They never turn off when the computer is on. I've checked that checkbox that says turn off HDD when possible. I would like them to be off because Mavericks does not detect them anyway. As far as I can see mine is Mac Pro 3.1...

Sleep/Wake work well for me either. My problem is I don't get the HDD's turned off but I guess it's because Mavericks doesn't recognise that SATA controller. I've posted here this thing earlier but I can't figure it out yet.

Hi. I installed the DSDT for older BIOS 1504. Can this be risky? I don't like to downgrade the BIOS because I run 2 Raids 0 and I don't want any troubles with them. Also in the link you provided my motherboard is not listed. As far as I can see it works well but I\m not sure if it's safe.

Yes exactly that is. My bios is 1601 and as you can see in database it's available just for 1504.
