Hi there, I successfully installed Ventura on my upgraded PowerHack G5 a few days ago. I still have some tweaks to do, but for the most parts it works ok. Now I moved my Windows install to a bigger SSD, and I want to reinstall Ventura on a bigger SSD too. My installer USB stick with OpenCore...

And… it boots! Not sure exactly what did the trick, but I cleaned up my config.plist so it validated, using values copied over from some successful builds around. I could boot my Big Sur drive from two years ago and backup my VMs… Doing a clean install of Ventura now.Thanks all for your help...

I managed to get the installation to launch by resetting the NVRAM (nvram -c as a boot arg in Clover screen), and I'm happily running 10.15.7, thanks to this post. I hope it helps!

Do you manually select the "Data" partition in Clover on each restart?

The update went smoothly for the PowerHack G5. Updated Lilu and Whatevergreen beforehand. Approximately 15 minutes and three reboots with manual selection of the « Data » partition in Clover, and here we go. Z370 and RX580.

Problem finally solved. I ditched the Fenvi FV-T919 WiFi/BT card and replaced it with the cheaper Fenvi FV-HB1200. As I hoped, my Hackintosh once again shuts down fine and sleeps like a baby… The culprit was the card who wouldn't turn off ; my kexts and drivers were fine.
