I know this isn't very helpful but I too had this problem. the only way I was able to fix it was to reinstall OS X from scratch (which I needed to do anyway). In the meantime, I was just booting from my USB stick and selecting the OS X drive from there as it has the Chameleon boot loader on it...
I have been having this problem for a while where I try to boot my Hackintosh but it just displays the message:
boot0: GPT
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: done_
And then it hangs there. I have to turn off my computer and boot from my original USB stick if I want to get into my computer which is...
To anyone else having this problem, what worked for me was to open Finder, click on GO and then hold alt. Library will then appear which should contain the Preferences folder. I couldn't find my SystemProfiler.plist for ages until I tried this.

I really appreciate this by the way, if you can help me fix it so it works - I will be sure to give you some sort of donation or something :)

Once into the BIOS, what do I do? I want to avoid a clean OS install if possible...
I had this problem but I can't boot my system at all. I have Mavericks and get the error: This version of Mac OS X is not supported. Reason: Z77 DS3H. Please help, I can't get into my computer.
Right so I'll run through the story quickly - I upgraded my Mountain Lion Hackintosh to Mavericks the other day and watched Bob Roche's video on how to fix iMessage. He said in there that you should try the Clover bootloader. I did install the bootloader and restarted my computer but on...
