Hi there, i'm experiencing a loud static sound in Catalina, it only occurs when there's no sound playing in the background or while is idle. My motherboard is an old AsRock Z68 that use Realtek ALC892, i have installed AppleALC.kext. I would appreciate any advice on how to fix it.

Did you use UEFI or Legacy Mode in the Clover installer?

I can confirm that my GTX 660 Ti also suffers from artifacts with Final Cut Pro 10.4 but in Sierra 10.12.8. Went back to previous version FCPX 10.3.4 and it runs with no issue.

I'm also getting screen artifacts with my 660Ti and Final Cut Pro 10.4 but with Sierra. I think is time to upgrade my graphics card... with Windows works fine.

Direct update went fine, but now it doesn't seem to recognize my internal 2TB backup hard drive. Any ideas?

Got almost the same problem with Sierra, all my USB ports lags (wireless mouse and keyboard). But when i attached a USB hub and used it, the lagging stops.

What OS version are you currently using? I had the same problem with Sierra and my Z68 using UEFI Mode, Legacy Mode did the job. About iCloud, verify your Apple ID and see if MLB (Clover) is saved correctly in config.plist. Also boot with verbose mode option.

Try updating Clover to the latest version.
