That's done : I just installed a GT 710. I created a new Unibeast USB Drive. The boot was ok, no bootflag needed. The installation was OK, the post installation with Multibeast was OK. The Hackintosh works fine, and with a SSD, that old Core i3 does a very decent job.
Thank you for your advice ! But first, I will install a graphic card, which i will receive tomorrow. Then, when i will get rid of the unsupported Intel HD2500 graphics issue, I will try your solution if i still struggle with new troubles.
Ok, after some research, I understand that the trouble comes from the Intel HD2500 which is not supported.
Will a small graphic card, such as a Nvidia 710 GT will solve the problem ?
I don't understand. Should I really post the config.plist from the EFI partition of the Unibeast USB drive ? Ok then.
[edit : now i start to understand something : the product name given by Unibeast is iMac14,2. Probably a wrong choice for an Ivy Bride processor. I'll change to iMac 13,1 (an...
I have no config.plist because the trouble occurs when I want to boot from my Unibeast USB drive. But I admit things may seem confused because I previously tried to install my SSD with my current Hackintosh. That why it's named as "Macintosh HD" on the screenshot. But that screenshot was made on...
You're right. I 've also just changed the setting, but the boot is still not successful.
We can see several failures, but I'm not able to find a way to solve them.
Thank you for your answer ! Ok I dit that. The progress bar starts fast until its half and then goes slower and slower and when it's complete, the boot doesn't seem to go further. Nor more KP then - that's a progress - but no complete boot though.
Hello everyone,
It's not my first build, but I can't find any solution about what happens. The first steps are ok :
- making the Unibeast USB drive is ok ;
- Bios settings are as usual for that kind of motherboard (SATA selection mode => AHCI / xHCI Mode => Auto / XHCI Hand-off => Enabled /...
Similar experience here after I installed the audio, fixed iMessage and installed Nvidia webdrivers. 1st boot crashed and 2nd one succeeded, and again and again. Removing OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and installing OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi solved that issue. Thank you for your tip !
To fix the crash with network uploads (on internet or on the LAN) :
- I deleted the old Shailua's ALXEthernet.kext form my EFI partition ;
- I replaced it by the one I used on my previous configuration : that was the AtherosL1cEthernet.kext, I retrieved it in a Time Machine Backup ;
- then I set...
I never care about audio because I have USB speakers (Harman Kardon soundsticks i have for 13 years…). But i will do something about it later, for the fun of it (!).
By the way, I just had a crash while performing a speed test (nPerf) on internet and I remember that the very old kext network I...
It works ! Thank you a lot for your advice !
I didn't use the CustoMac Essentials.kg : I still don't understand why it installs the kexts in /Library/Extensions instead of the kexts folder in the EFI partition as it should do in the Clover way of thinking.
So, these are the steps I followed...
[SOLVED] Unibeast 6.0 works fine, but no ethernet after post-installation - GA-Z77-DS3H - Core i5 3570k - GTX 660Ti
[Edit : problem solved, thanks to FinderA and ammulder - See #4 message]

Hi !
Everything is fine about the Mac OS X El Capitan installation on my GA-Z77-DS3H rev 1.0 + Core i5 3570k
Things are becoming tricky with the post installation part. I followed the steps, including the installation of the essential kext with CustoMac Essentials.pkg but i can't connect to...
